Reforms in Mallorca
The idea of a Reform Church in Mallorca seems to have resurfaced after more than twenty years. It started with the foundations of Santa Fe College, founded by Josefa Madrid. The college is affiliated with the World Evangelical Association and is located in the town of Sant Feliu de Guixols. Later, when it became apparent that Santa Fe College offered a liberal education, other schools began to join and offer the same liberal arts courses. This trend has since become a trend, leading to more establishments offering liberalisation on religious and moral matters and, consequently, Reforms in Mallorca have appeared.
As the concept of Reforms in Mallorca evolved, so did the need for a place for these institutions. Eventually, following the incorporation of the municipalities of Calpe and Palma, there was to be a die assembly which would take over the administration of the existing municipal government. Reforms in Mallorca now cover almost all sectors of life in the region. These include education, social work, economic development, health care, family and relationship issues and of course, religion and social practices.
Reforms in Mallorca offer many alternatives for people living in the area. This is in stark contrast to the situation a few decades ago when people living in the area were forced to leave their homes and create an integrated community based on religion and the needs of the local people. A perfect example of this is the existence of the Unitary Plan of Mallorca (UVIP). This plan created a unique set of inclusiveness and integration for the various groups in the region. The UVIP also requires that all members of a die assembly must belong to one of the recognised communities that make up the plan's periphery. Click here for more details about Reformas en Mallorca
Reforms in Mallorca allow the right of appeal for those who believe they have been discriminated against. Also, the right of appeal for people who have been unjustly dismissed from their jobs is now an absolute right provided the appeal is done within a reasonable time-span. If, after a reasonable period of time has elapsed and no hearing has been held, the case will be heard by the courts and if the court finds that discrimination has taken place then employers are legally bound to reinstate the worker or, in the alternative, give the worker compensation.
Reforms in Mallorca now allow clients to hire non-Spanish speaking workers from other countries and this has lead to a rise in the number of people emigrating to the region. This increase in emigration has, of course, had a marked impact on the housing market in Mallorca. Another significant Reform is the adoption of the 'habeas corpus' which means that a person can bring his entire family members into Spain provided that all their rights are protected under the Law of Associations. In addition to this, the right of abode for a family member who has become abroad has also been legalized and if this family member has to return to Mallorca to avail of his right of return, then the law states that the property which belonged to him before he left is now his family's property and all his rights in it are protected by the Law of Associations.
The Reforms in Mallorca are being viewed with great interest by both the Spanish nationals as well as the foreign investors who wish to invest in this beautiful part of the Mediterranean. However, the foreign investors must understand that, in the case of an investment in Mallorca, they are entering into an agreement and that the same can not be changed even if, in the future, the laws in Mallorca become more accommodating to their needs. As an investor, you must understand that the rules of the game cannot be modified but you can play the game according to the rules that are already there and then only will you be able to get the full benefits out of your investment. Therefore, take your time and study well the present Reforms in Mallorca so that you know how to legally benefit from the same. There is no need to panic as the rules are still very favorable and you will find it very easy to do business in Mallorca.
