Womens Lingerie - Ready For a Change?
The womens lingerie industry has evolved significantly in recent years. Not only have styles changed, but also the types of clothes available have adapted to fit all shapes and sizes. Rihanna's Savage x Fenty fashion show, filmed in New York in September, showcased models of all sizes, abilities and races. While the world of lingerie is still largely male dominated, the rise of female empowerment has led to a growth in female underwear. The push-up bra has long been the most popular style of womens lingerie, and it's still the most commonly purchased type of intimate apparel. However, a recent Victoria's Secret show has brought it under fire for ignoring the needs of body diversity.
